The clinic for vascular surgery offers the whole range of operative, minimally invasive and interventional therapy for vascular diseases, in particular

• Treating constriction of the carotid artery (carotid stenosis) to prevent a stroke
• Treating bulging of the aorta (aorta aneurysm), primarily using minimally invasive techniques with so-called aorta stents
• Treating occlusion of the pelvic-leg arteries (peripheral artery occlusive disease) by balloon dilation or bypass operations.
• Surgery of the vascular veins
• Shunt operations to prepare for dialysis in patients with chronic kidney failure
• Treatment of acute deep leg vein thrombosis
