Plastic surgery involves the reconstruction of the human body in terms of form and function. Using the very latest microsurgery techniques we correct the consequences of accidents, tumour operations or deformities. The focus of our endeavours is invariably particularly gentle and sparing tissue treatment.

Hand Surgery

The complex structures of the hand (nerves, tendons, vessels, joints, etc.) and its complex anatomy demand comprehensive specialised knowledge and surgical skills.

• Repair of acute lesions, on both an outpatient and inpatient basis.
• The very latest methods of treating clinical pictures such as Dupuytren’s contracture (loss of motion of the hand due to connective tissue changes)
• Repair of nerve pressure illnesses (e.g. Carpal tunnel syndrome)
• Surgery to the rheumatic hand
• Follow-up with intensive physiotherapy and ergotherapy

Reconstructive Surgery

Many defects can be corrected by modern microsurgery – either immediately after accidents or not until some time later.

• Optimum results can be achieved when lost tissue is replaced by homogeneous living tissue
• Reconstructing a breast lost through amputation by means of the patient’s own tissue
• Destroyed skin sections (e.g. after burns) are replaced by the patient’s own body tissue

• Severe consequences of injury (e.g. disabilities and disfiguration after burn injuries) can also be rectified in several treatment stages
